Applying for Financial Assistance
The new financial assistance scheme commenced on 1 July 2016. We are now accepting applications for financial assistance under the new scheme.

You can apply for financial assistance without a lawyer, however if you would like some legal assistance to discuss your options you can contact Legal Aid ACT on 1300 654 314 or the ACT Law Society on 6274 0300.
Please note that the maximum amount a lawyer can charge you to assist you in applying for financial assistance is $1,123
The maximum amount that a lawyer can charge you to assist you with an appeal or review is $2 246
